About Us

We’ve been committed to infants, toddlers, and their families in King and Pierce County for over 60 years.
Birth to Three was started in 1966 by four parents who wanted services for their children with developmental disabilities. They first hired a part-time teacher and therapist to help five children. Over the years, we grew and moved to Federal Way in 1978. In 2006, Birth to Three became one of 15 Neurodevelopmental Centers in the state, and in 2016, we expanded even further to offer childcare services at our Birth to Five Early Learning Center.
In 2018, we were recognized by Washington State as a Neurodevelopmental Center of Excellence. Today, we continue to serve children from ages four weeks to six years old.
